Fermanagh Genealogy Centre was established in 2012 and is a registered charity (NIC 100414) run entirely by volunteers in their spare time, with extensive local and genealogy knowledge.
We are the delivery partner for genealogical services at Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, based at Fermanagh Visitor Information Centre, Enniskillen.
Our aim is to promote the history and heritage of Fermanagh along with the study of family history.
This is achieved through educational talks (see events listing for current talks program), research activities and assisting locals and visitors with their family history.
We also offer beneficial volunteering opportunities to learn and develop family research skills and to enable social inclusion to anyone interested in Fermanagh heritage.

This replaces the online booking system we had previously used, run by Fermanagh & Omagh Council .
We also close for all of December & January

These can take a while to answer in the busy months as we only have a few volunteers.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
We depend on charitable donations to fund our running costs so that we can continue our support those with Fermanagh ancestry. You can donate by clicking on the ‘Donate’ button. We look forward to meeting you in the centre or to hearing from you over the internet! Thank you and good luck with your search!
